Marijuana ALMOST legal in Ontario.

For all of you living on a higher floor than the one you're on, you will soon be able to do it anytime, anywhere in Ontario. Legalizing it is only waiting on the federal government to review the decision after an Ontario court ruling decided to pass the motion. "The government of Canada is reviewing the decision and will consider its options," Leslie Meerburg, spokeswoman for Health Canada, said Wednesday in an email. I quote "reviewing" the "decision" has been made.
What the federal government is reviewing if medical marijuana will be legal or possession and production of cannabis. They have until July to decide. Best Blogger Tips

Bomb explodes in Lebanese church.

Just when I thought it's been while since we saw Lebanon in the head lines, a bomb containing 2 kilos of TNT, explodes in Zahle. Luckily no injuries were reported. I don't think this is a terrorist attack or a party trying to intimidate the other. At the moment there are no reasons for such thing. I do think though Lebanese people got jealous. For the past 10 to 15 years Lebanon and Palestine have always been the highlight of the headlines in the Middle East, almost like they are filming the best movie to ever be filmed. Lately there wasn't enough action in those two countries that they weren't making it to the top of the headlines.

Canadian elections set for May 2nd

The Canadian opposition accused the Harper government of abuse of power and highly contested his budget plan. As a result the liberal party joined forces with the 2 other opposition parties taking a stand again the conservatives. Which means joined together they have a lot more power than the conservative's. A motion was passed yesterday from the opposition and the results of the votes showed 156 votes in favor, 11 more than the votes against. This is the first time in Canada that the government was found in contempt of the parliament and as a result Steven Harper, after discussing with the governor general David Johnson, decided to dissolve the parliament.
