Porsche Design Johnnie Walker Blue Label Private Bar

Usually when we talk about cars, we try to keep alcohol as far away from the conversation as possible. However, this time, we have no choice but to put the indulgence front and center. This is a special Johnnie Walker Blue Label Private Bar designed by Porsche. Of course, this toy comes with a hefty price tag, not unusual for a Porsche item. It costs £100,000 or about $155,000, even more expensive than a Porsche 911 Turbo ($137,500). There will be only 50 units built, sold worldwide.

A Zimbabwean man has told a court that he hired a prostitute who during the night transformed into a donkey, and that he is now “seriously in love” with the animal, state media said on Wednesday.

“I think I am also a donkey. I do not know what happened when I left the bar, but I am seriously in love with the donkey,” Sunday Moyo told the court, according to The Herald newspaper.

Moyo, 28, was arrested in the town of Zvishavane, about 300 kilometers (185 miles) south of the capital Harare on Sunday.

He said he had paid $25 for a prostitute, and was surprised Sunday morning when he heard people accusing him of having sex with a donkey.

Moyo has been charged with bestiality. The court has ordered him to undergo a mental examination, The Herald said.

I don't know what kind of mental disease this man has, but I think he killed the prostitute and to cover it up he had sex with a donkey... Genius???

My culinary experience

People who know me, know how much I love good food. With that in mind, I had no clue about how to make good food when I first came to university. Mama was always there to provide the best dishes for years and I never thought I'd need to learn from her. For 4 years of mac and cheese, frozen microwavable goods and burnt rice and meat got me to the breaking point. I've had enough. So I started reading, watching and trying different sort of things with one main thing in mind, perfecting a medium cooked steak. Meat is my favorite type of food, some friends go as far as calling me a carnivore, so steaks was at the top of my list. Now after numerous failed attempts, I started to get the hang of it. Not only I became capable of cooking steaks at any temperature but I realized how easy it was...

So one afternoon a dad was filming his son playing the wii, dancing to Michael Jackson's song smooth criminal when his other kid used a sock to slap his father with. Little did he know karma was right behind him. If you are wondering, yes these are Lebron James kids and the person holding the camera is Lebron himself. In his own words "This is what happens when u being bad! Karma comes right back to bite u. LMAO!!"

Smartest Kid In 1st Grade

A first-grade teacher, Ms Brooks, was having trouble with one of her students. The teacher asked, 'Harry, what's your problem?'

Harry answered, 'I'm too smart for the 1st grade. My sister is in the 3rd grade and I'm smarter than she is! I think I should be in the 3rd grade too!'

Ms. Brooks had had enough. She took Harry to the principal's office.

While Harry waited in the outer office, the teacher explained to the principal what the situation was. The principal told Ms. Brooks he would give the boy a test. If he failed to answer any of his questions he was to go back to the 1st grade and behave. She agreed.

Harry was brought in and the conditions were explained to him and he agreed to take the test.

Principal:
'What is 3 x 3?'

Harry:
'9.'

Principal:
'What is 6 x 6?'

Harry:
'36.'

And so it went with every question the principal thought a 3rd grader should know.

The principal looks at Ms. Brooks and tells her, 'I think Harry can go to the 3rd grade'

Ms. Brooks says to the principal, 'Let me ask him some questions..'

The principal and Harry both agreed.

Ms. Brooks asks, 'What does a cow have four of that I have only two of?'

Harry, after a moment: 'Legs.'

Ms. Brooks: 'What is in your pants that you have but I do not have?'

The principal wondered why would she ask such a question!

Harry replied: 'Pockets.'

Ms. Brooks: 'What does a dog do that a man steps into?'

Harry: 'Pants.'

The principal sat forward with his mouth hanging open.

Ms. Brooks: 'What goes in hard and pink then comes out soft and sticky?'

The principal's eyes opened really wide and before he could stop the answer, Harry replied, 'Bubble gum.'

Ms. Brooks: 'What does a man do standing up, a woman does sitting down and a dog does on three legs?'

Harry: 'Shake hands .'

The principal was trembling.

Ms. Brooks: 'What word starts with an 'F' and ends in 'K' that means a lot of heat and excitement?'

Harry:
'Firetruck.'

The principal breathed a sigh of relief and told the

Dexter season 6 coming this fall

Based on Jeff Lindsay's novels Darkly Dreaming Dexter and Dearly Devoted Dexter this crime thriller follows Dexter Morgan, from my point of view this is one of the best TV shows every made. Dexter is a forensic blood spatter expert for the Miami Dade Police Department. He is the main support for his sister. He has a steady girlfriend, with two kids who adore him. He also has an active "night life". Based on a code instilled in him by his foster father, Harry, he hunts down people who have escaped justice and makes sure they don't get away with a crime again.

That said, whoever didn't watch this show should get on it immediately, you have 5 seasons to catch up before season 6, the final one begins airing this fall (Sunday October 2nd). Since the beginning of summer, right after Miami lost the Finals, all we heard about Lebron James revolved around charity events, basketball camps for the best high schools and colleges. He played in a few different basketball games here and there and filmed a commercial in Los Angeles. He visited Nike headquarters in Oregon. He even attended a bachelor party in Las Vegas for his teammate Chris Paul. Lebron James is back home in Ohio, hosting his charity bicycle annual event but most importantly Lebron James did a rather unusual thing this summer. He had his plane take a little detour and go to Houston. He decided that after loosing to the Dallas Mavericks he wanted to improve one of the aspects of his game (the only aspect he still needs to be perfect), his post up game. To do that he went to see the great Hakeem Olajuwon.

So you had a crazy night last night and woke up with the worst hangover. Ap

do the trick! A perfect 'morning after' meal will be your ticket out of remorse for whatever happened the night before, and will get that C.O.D. gun-shooting effect out of your head.

1. As soon as you wake up, and stumble out of bed, go get a glass of cold water. BUT MAKE SURE you sip it slowly. While you're asleep, your body's dehydration sneaks its way in and the first thing you'll want to do is down an entire bottle as soon as you open your eyes. But try to sip slowly because if you drink it all too fast, that feeling of sudden hydration will make you feel nauseous and unbalanced.

2. When you wake up hungover, head pounding and room spinning, you're first instinct probably won't be to head to the kitchen but to the washroom to finish up some business. My advice to you: TAKE YOUR TIME. Then take a shower afterwards.

3. After your shower, put on some moisturizing body lotion all over, that dryness is due to the dehydration from the alcohol. Plus, it feels so good when you finally hydrate your body inside and out.

Now for the breakfast part:

Here are some quick, easy dishes that make you feel so much better. Remember to drink water before you drink anything else. Also, a nice cup of coffee later on in the day feels great, but get your body hydrated first!

Here's a good list of breakfast wonders. You'll thank me.

1. Potato-Tomato pancakes with Sunny Side-Ups and Grilled Tomato slices.

Serves 3

Ingredients: Pancakes: 3 small-medium potatoes, 1 onion, 1 tomato, olive oil, salt, pepper, cumin, nutmeg, 1 cup flour, 1/4 cup milk, 2 eggs, breadcrumbs.

DON'T BE LAZY! DO NOT USE A MACHINE TO BLEND THESE INGREDIENTS!

First, grate (peeled/unpeeled: it's up to you!) potatoes and peeled onion into a big bowl. Chop tomato into small cubes. After 5 minutes of grating, you'll notice the puddle of potato/onion/tomato juice at the bottom of the bowl. It is important to drain the mixture. Then, crack in the eggs and make sure all is blended togethe

r and that the eggs are coating the potatoes/onion mixture. After that, add in about 2 tbsp olive oil and mix quickly. In another bowl, mix together the flour, milk and the spices (about 1 tsp. of cumin and nutmeg, and salt and pepper according to taste). Pour flour/milk/spices into potato/onion/tomato mixture and stir.

SPICE ADVICE! Do not add spices including salt and pepper until the end, as these will damage the eggs.

COOKING: Heat a large skillet on med-high heat. It is imp

ortant to let the pan heat first, and then add a little bit of cooking oil. (Olive oil works but make sure you don't cook the pancakes on high as olive oil has a low smoke-point). Take a spoonful of the pancake mixture, and place on skillet; pat down gently with back of spoon. Do not flatten entirely, as it will happen throughout the cooking/flipping process. The skillet should fit 3-4 pancakes. Cook each side of the pancakes for about 3-5 minutes each.

OPTION: Sprinkle one side of the pancake with breadcrumbs before you flip it to have a crusty, crumby crunch!

FOR THE GRILLED TOMATOES AND SUNNY SIDE-UPS:

You'll need 1 tomato, cut into thick slices

Heat 1 tbsp olive oil on pan at med-high heat (around 7 or 8). When the olive oil begins to smoke just a little bit (wait 2 minutes max!) turn down the heat to around 6, and place each tomato slice on the pan, allow to cook for 3 minutes and then turn over for 30 seconds. Place nicely on your beautiful plate.

You'll need 2 eggs.

Heat the skillet to medium-high. Coat the pan with about a tablespoon of olive oil, and when the pan is hot, add a tbsp of butter and let it sizzle for a sec.

HERE'S A TIP! Splash some water on the pan with your fingers, and if it sizzles and evaporates, then the pan is ready!

As soon as the sizzling starts, it's time to crack in 2 eggs. You can do them side by side, or individually, depending on the size of the pan (smaller pan=side by side). Turn down the heat to medium, and let the eggs cook until the white around the yolk has set and doesn't jiggle when you jiggle the pan. Depending on how you like your eggs, runny or not, you can adjust how long the eggs should cook; however I believe the right timing is around 4-5 minutes. For easy 'lifting', use a silicon spatula to slide between the egg and the pan lifting it off the surface, use the silicon spatula as a lever if you need it, and use an ordinary spatula to take the eggs out and serve on a plate.

Sprinting Science: Can Usain Bolt Break His 100m Record Again?

The London Olympic games is in one year from now and the world is wondering if Usain Bolt will be able to astonish us one more time. One of the questions that has been hunting me since he finished his 100m in Beijing celebrating before the race was done, "scientifically and physiologically, can the Human body run faster than that?". Bolt proved that he can a year after and now I was looking to find out if he can do it again... This article explains it best.

One year from now, the 2012 Olympic Games will begin in London, where all eyes will be on the incomparable Usain Bolt -- the Jamaican sprinter who is more than living up to his name.
Since 2008, Bolt has taken a jackhammer to the 100-meter world record, lopping off a whopping .14 seconds. That might not sound like a huge chunk of time until you consider it's twice as much as any other sprinter has shaved off the world record since the advent of electronic scoring.
Logically, one would think that Bolt did so by moving his legs faster than anyone else. Only he didn't.
Speed, as it turns out, may be completely misunderstood.

When Bolt established the current 100-meter world record in the 2009 world championships, running it in 9.58 seconds, he did so by moving his legs at virtually the same pace as his competitors. In fact, if you or I were to compete against Bolt, our legs would turn over at essentially the same rate as his.

This is a theory put forth by academics and track coaches alike who contend that running fast has more to do with the force one applies to the ground than how quickly one can move one's legs.

More than a decade ago, Peter Weyand, a science professor at Southern Methodist University, conducted a study on speed. Comparing athletes to non-athletes, Weyand clocked both test groups as they ran at their top speed. What he found shocked him.
"The amount of time to pick up a leg and put it down is very similar," he says. "It surprised us when we first figured it out."

How to Buy Organic Foods

It's true, organic produce is more expensive. So choose the fruits/vegetables that have the most residue from pesticides and opt to buy them organically instead.

TIP: If you buy apples or any other fruit, in bulk, and can't afford to buy them organically, that's fine. What you can do is peel the skin off before you eat them to avoid ingesting pesticides and toxic substances.

For the longest time Maserati has been sitting in the shaddows of Ferrari's larger than life status in the industry. This may be the only shortcoming for the beautiful Maserati. Ferrari probably makes it frustratingly difficulte for everyone at least with Maserati we are looking at one of the best (right after Ferrari).
Now to say that Maserati isn’t trying is likewise a slap in the face of the Italian automaker. And to be completely on the up-and-up, if there’s a car that can definitely make the world stand up and take notice, the brand’s new 2012 GranCabrio Convertible Sport is that car. Scheduled to be unveiled at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, the newest Maserati GranCabrio Convertible is nothing short of jaw-dropping. Even though it can't compete with Ferrari in terms of top speed, HP and 0 to 60, it definitely captures your attention with her looks.

Lexus will be unveiling the new generation GS sedan on August 18th, in conjunction with the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. That much we already know, but what many don’t know just yet is that the company is planning a coupe version of the model. The new GS Coupe will be a spiritual successor to the SC 430 and will target models like the Audi S5, BMW 650i, and Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe.
In an interview with Inside Line, Ben J. Mitchell, Lexus’ product planner manager said: "I’d like to do a coupe. We’re really trying to increase the emotional qualities of our brand. We want to emphasize exterior styling and dynamics."

Green is NOT just the "New Black"

We sit around and criticize people for trying to be too green, animal-friendly, etc. But guess what: it's not a fad. If people are being green because it's "the new black", then they're wasting their time. It shouldn't be one way of life, it should be THE way of life. People who don't care about what they're doing to the environment because they won't be around forever and therefore, only give a hoot about what the environment is like NOW, are selfish, ignorant idiots: think about your children and their children. Think about your legacy. Think about how you're affecting nature, and making it worse. Here's how you can help right here, right now. These are just a few things to think about.

In a more sentimental perspective, consider the way that the Quechua people in the Andes worship and give back to the mountain upon which they live. In a book I strongly recommend called 'Mountain of Condor', Joseph W. Bastien penetrates their culture by comprehending the importance of the mountain as a metaphor for meaning and hierarchy in their lives. The Earth is what naturally governs them, and why should we not do the same? These Incan people feed the mountain before they feed themselves. A friend of mine told me that during a trekking tour in Machu Picchu, their tour guides would regularly take out a bottle of water and pour some on the ground before they drank some for themselves, which would be their way of thanking the Earth before indulging in its fruitful offerings. If you are still not convinced, watch how the people in BBC's documentary "Human Planet" reciprocate aid to the Earth and animals around them, whether they are animals for food like the Indonesian sailors who harpoon a sperm whale to feed their entire village, or the way that a Mongolian father and son train their eagles to hunt after foxes to feed them during their harsh winters.

Since food production is responsible for 12% of greenhouse gas emissions (Pazderka et al. n.d.), choose your food and eat your meat wisely. Due to mass production, which not only feeds society's stomachs, but our mind set, to make meat or dairy the main ingredient in all three meals of the day, over the past 50 years, world meat consumption has gone up 50%.

At the same caloric and nutrient levels, vegan diets have the least effect on the environment, followed by vegetarian and omnivorous diets. This doesn't mean that vegetarian and vegan diets are always better than carnivorous. If we consumed organic meat, that would be much better for the environment than non-organic cheese, milk, etc.

When organic was compared to conventional systems on each diet, the organic diet wins whether vegan, vegetarian or omnivorous. (Baroni and colleagues, 2006). So maybe instead of going vegan, opt for an omnivorous diet that consists of organic produce.

Water use:

To produce 1 calorie of meat it takes 100 times the amount of water that it takes to produce 1 calorie of grain.

Land use:

Transportation: Moving the food to the animals, then moving the animals to slaughter and transporting the meat to a store magnifies harmful emissions

Energy and Fossil Fuels.Animals must eat 6 kilograms of plant protein to make 1 kilogram of animal protein . Ittakes 40 calories of energy to produce one calorie of beef, making it the worst offender. Following close behind aremilk (14:1), and eggs (39:1). The average energy-in to energy-out ratio for animal protein is 25:1.

The point is...

In order to reduce the number of gas emissions that are truly harming our environment, we need to consume a little bit less than we do today, not solely in amount, but in variety. Especially since food is constantly being wasted or coming from ruthless (in terms of anti-green) factories who don't care. This doesn't mean that everyone should just go vegan to protect the Earth or cut down their food intake by half. Instead, we should try to consume more organic products in general, so as to not feed the mass production industry of animals for their meat and by-products. The reason that these industries are constantly mass producing animals is because we DEMAND it, and therefore they SUPPLY it. Support grass-fed beef, and organic produce. It's better for your health and the environment.

This is actually a sad story of an old women, passionate about synchronized swimming and living life to it's fullest but her age was limiting her abilities. She then turned to medical marijuana and it helped a little bit but MS was also another problem she was facing and eventually she couldn't live the same way she did before. I am sad to see some people consume marijuana for the wrong reasons, I think it's very hypocritical... It's like eating a lot of food while someone right next to you needs it and can't get it. It's a known fact to all usual readers of my blog that I'm very impressed with the Veyron but to see it beat, not any car, not any Maclaren, but the F1 itself was thrilling enough for me to come back and watch this video over and over again... That being said, I would love to see these two babies race on a track with numerous turns. Knowing the torque capability of the Maclaren I think Bugatti will have a lot of troubles winning. Sears.com accidentally prices iPad at $69

You know the old saying if a deal is too good to be true, then it probably is too good to be true?
That's what happened to a major retailer's online shoppers Friday afternoon. Sears.com inadvertently advertised Apple's 16GB iPad 2 for $69, much less than the regular advertised price of $744.99. That low price got the attention of web shoppers and the deal went viral on Twitter and other social media websites.
Many people took advantage of the unbelievable deal, though a Sears spokesperson couldn't give an exact number. Friday night, Sears posted a statement online telling customers the error was made by a third-party vendor and the deal will not be honored.

The collection is the product of a 17-year collaboration between David L. Bassett, a School of Medicine alumnus and faculty member known for his elegant dissections and love for the human body, and William Gruber, the photographer who invented the View-Master stereoscopic viewing device.

A deep dissection of the side of the head shows the many blood vessels (red arteries, blue veins) and nerves (graying white) in the facial region. The hole is the external ear canal. The temporal muscle, used for chewing, is the prominent fan shaped muscle on the side of skull, behind the mouth and above the jaw.
