Based on Jeff Lindsay's novels Darkly Dreaming Dexter and Dearly Devoted Dexter this crime thriller follows Dexter Morgan, from my point of view this is one of the best TV shows every made. Dexter is a forensic blood spatter expert for the Miami Dade Police Department. He is the main support for his sister. He has a steady girlfriend, with two kids who adore him. He also has an active "night life". Based on a code instilled in him by his foster father, Harry, he hunts down people who have escaped justice and makes sure they don't get away with a crime again.
That said, whoever didn't watch this show should get on it immediately, you have 5 seasons to catch up before season 6, the final one begins airing this fall (Sunday October 2nd). And season 6 trailer, which looks highly influenced by religion. It looks like it will be good. I really hope it doesn't end with Dexter going down. It will just ruin it for me.
