Extreme herding

If you had a few border collies, a camera and a herd of sheep, what is the first thing that comes to mind? LED Samsung TVs right?
For this video Samsung went to the hills of Wales, armed with sheep, LEDs and a camera. The help of well trained herding dogs and farmers who know a tiny bit more than Samsung about herding was greatly appreciated. They came up with a huge amazing LED display.

Sears.com accidentally prices iPad at $69

You know the old saying if a deal is too good to be true, then it probably is too good to be true?
That's what happened to a major retailer's online shoppers Friday afternoon. Sears.com inadvertently advertised Apple's 16GB iPad 2 for $69, much less than the regular advertised price of $744.99. That low price got the attention of web shoppers and the deal went viral on Twitter and other social media websites.
Many people took advantage of the unbelievable deal, though a Sears spokesperson couldn't give an exact number. Friday night, Sears posted a statement online telling customers the error was made by a third-party vendor and the deal will not be honored.

Cut Chair

Cut Chair

The Cut Chair provides a stable place to sit, but creates an optical illusion that tells you otherwise.

A plate concealed by a thick carpet allows a robust cantilevered seat. Three well placed leg “stumps” and the chair looks as though it has just been magically sliced apart.

Google has it's own facebook, the Googbook

Google launches Google+, a quasi-Facebook competitor
Have you realized something different on Google? I just found out what it is...
Yesterday, Google unveiled Google+, yet another attempt by the search giant to overcome its past miscues in the social networking space.

More people visit Google's network of websites than Facebook each month, but Facebook is killing the search company in categories that advertisers care most about: Time spent and pages viewed. Users spent 62% more time on Facebook than on Google last month, and viewed more than twice the number of pages on Facebook as they did on Google, according to comScore.

Google's latest solution to this growing trend is Google+, a new social network that tries to out-Facebook Facebook. On Facebook, people are either "friends" or not. Google+ makes that distinction more fluid, letting users group their contacts into smaller categories, such as relatives, co-workers, or members of a yoga class. Information can be shared selectively with each group.

Refrigerator with a built in beer tap

What's better than having a brand-new, retro-style refrigerator? Having one with a beer tap built in. The Northstar Brew Master Refrigerator ($3,000-$5,300) comes in three styles — 1950, 1951, and 1952 — and arrives fresh from the factory with a through-the-door draught system pre-installed, including the tap dispenser, coupler, connections, CO2 cylinder, and drip tray. As a bonus, you can choose to have it set up for your preferred keg style, letting you decide how much usable refrigerator is left over.

Solar power charging table.

Inductive charging basically uses the electromagnetic field to transfer energy between two objects, and appliances using this technology have been there in the electronic market for years. But the novelty element in this product is that it allows direct connection with the device to be charged, when placed on the black, square-grid charging panel. This direct power transfer mechanism circumvents the need for coupling with a charger.

"Start Something PC" is an annually held design competition hosted by Microsoft and IDSA. The challenge is to “Rethink the Windows-based PC experience today and the role it plays in people’s lives.”

Amazing Audi R8 Spyder commercial

Those Germans don`t stop amazing me with their cars and the way they publicize them. They really are the best in this domain.
In this video you will experience extreme tranquility while being entertained and probably amazed by the R8 Spyder. What is more impressive than the car is the commercial itself, the choice of the places, the sounds, the music, if it was any car I`d want to buy it. But then again this is the Audi R8 Spyder, if you don`t have at least the tiniest attraction to it then please don`t even press play...

Here`s another display of how amazing are the Germans when displaying their pride in their products...

Transparent toaster.

Did you ever burn your toast? Each one of us has done it at least once. Those electronic companies sure take a long time to come up with a simpler solution. Everything has to come out very basic and hard to use then they start improving it. Why not wait a little longer and come up with a smarted and more user friendly product, I have no idea. I can’t believe that no one realised that people burn their toast because they can’t see them…

I know I didn’t think about it either…. J So I thank Inventible concept studios for this amazing invention.

The new google notebook with "no programs"

Google just launched a new type of laptops, the Chromebook, using the new Google Chrome OS. This means no programs, no desktop, and nothing to start up. Which will allow the laptop to boot in less than 8 seconds, doesn't require updates or anti-virus since google promises that it's built in security is enough. The web, rather than a local hard drive is also used for storing data, files, music, documents and videos. Which means you will never lose anything since everything can be accessible online.

COME ON PlayStation!!!!

As you all know the Play Station 3 network is down and it's not just a glitch or a momentary hiccup, it's a full-fledged meltdown. According to Sony chief spokesperson Patrick Seybold:

"While we are investigating the cause of the Network outage, we wanted to alert you that it may be a full day or two before we're able to get the service completely back up and running."

That promise was made last week and here we are, no network. And Sony's lack of communication with they're customers is becoming more and more pricy. Not only to the millions of credit cards information stored on the network but also to Sony. Some cities law suits are directed toward the tech giant because apparently the crime rates increased since then, and lets not forget about the credit cards information that have been stolen. It's not until this happened that I understood why the Xbox network comes at the coast. Xbox gamers pay for the added security.

iPad 2 out in Canada yesterday!

I have never been a big fan of apple product but the popularity of the iPad 2 makes me think twice. It was set to launch in Canada yesterday, and already it is sold out. When apple launched the new iPad in the U.S. on the 11th of march a million devices were sold on the first day, compared to 500,000 units sold the first week after the launch of the older version. Good luck trying to buy one in the next few weeks since on Apple.ca, availability for all models of the iPad 2 is listed at three to four weeks.
