2012 Maserati GranCabrio Convertible Sport

For the longest time Maserati has been sitting in the shaddows of Ferrari's larger than life status in the industry. This may be the only shortcoming for the beautiful Maserati. Ferrari probably makes it frustratingly difficulte for everyone at least with Maserati we are looking at one of the best (right after Ferrari).
Now to say that Maserati  isn’t trying is likewise a slap in the face of the Italian automaker. And to be completely on the up-and-up, if there’s a car that can definitely make the world stand up and take notice, the brand’s new 2012 GranCabrio Convertible Sport is that car. Scheduled to be unveiled at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, the newest Maserati GranCabrio Convertible is nothing short of jaw-dropping. Even though it can't compete with Ferrari in terms of top speed, HP and 0 to 60, it definitely captures your attention with her looks.

Lamborghini to build the Estoque or the LM00X SUV, What do YOU think?

A few days ago, a report came out that Lamborghini is teaming up with Porsche to build its very own SUV that will be based on the Porsche’s latest GT architecture. While this news poses a shift in philosophy for the Raging Bull and could potentially undermine its tradition, the latest word, at least according to Car and Driver, is that Lamborghini is "on the fence on which model will join the Gallardo and the Aventador in the lineup".

Lending a helping hand to Aston Martin...

Aston Martin is having some problems. The popularity of this magnificent company is not what it used to be. Personally, I am not too happy with this. Aston Martin chopped the production for the Rapide from 2,000 units all the way down to 1,250 per year. Since they took care of cutting costs, which is step one, I’ll do my part in helping them out with step two: Marketing.

It looks like the V12 Zagato Racer won’t be the only Aston Martin model participating in the Nürburgring 24-hour race in Europe and the Spring Mountain 24 hours in Nevada. The Rapide will also be making its presence known at the race, first to demonstrate the durability of Aston Martin’s four door sports coupe, then to help raise money for charity. Surely this has something to do with the fact that the company has been experiencing slow demand for the luxury sports sedan.

Aston, Maybach ‘to team up’ to bring a unique concept to the Frankfurt auto show.

Aston Martin and Maybach are discussing building a concept car together, possibly for the Frankfurt show in September and the move could signal an impending partnership between Aston
and Mercedes-Benz.
Little is known about the concept, except that it is likely to be a luxury car, with a high-quality interior finished to the hand-crafted standards of a British luxury saloon.
Aston is understood to have approached Mercedes with an idea for at least one concept, although a source suggests that two projects are the subject of discussions. Neither Aston Martin nor Mercedes would comment.

Transparent phone

Official concept phone, one created by Aston Martin and Mobiado, the famous luxury gadget designer. What you can see in the pictures is a transparent phone running Android.
The glass is in fact a touchscreen and Mobiado hopes to also implement a SIM card slot, a chipset and a battery on this gadget. Mobiado CTP022 is supposed to connect to the car and its display, showing a map of local venues and friends from the Foursquare network. Turns out that the camera in your car can snap a photo and post it on Facebook letting everyone know you own an Aston Martin.
