2013 BMW Gran Coupe

So it has been a while since BMW gave us something to admire and drop our jaws. Thankfully they finally came to their senses and decided to give us a BMW with a little more personality and character. Well, hopefully...
The Gran Coupe concept has finally been pushed through to production. With the AUdi A7 lurking at the segment and the Mercedes CLS in it's second version, BMW needed a new star. For that they are signing the Gran Coupe with a contract starting in 2012.

A new guest start on Mission impossible 4, The BMW I8

The Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol, will air on December 16, 2011, but while many people think Tom Cruise will be the star of the show, I think differently. I want to watch this movie for it's guest star, even if it's just so I can get a glimpse of the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics concept car that will inspire the production BMW i8 version.

Cut Chair

Cut Chair

The Cut Chair provides a stable place to sit, but creates an optical illusion that tells you otherwise.

A plate concealed by a thick carpet allows a robust cantilevered seat. Three well placed leg “stumps” and the chair looks as though it has just been magically sliced apart.

125m yacht

Another intriguing concept from yacht enthusiast Hyun-Seok Kim. The Voronoi mega-yacht is named after the voronoi pattern of the irregular honeycomb lattice structure that encases it’s upper levels. This yacht was made to entertain. Hot tubs and golfing green occupy the upper deck and within the lattice on the bridge deck lies an indoor garden and luxurious pool area. The interior has all sorts of comforts of home and a little more. It even has a sleek emergency vessel for a stylish evacuation, but hopefully the captain’s only worry will be avoiding those honeycomb tan lines.

Audi Trimaran concept as a grad final project

Through out the past 10 years we witnessed Audi growing and growing fast. They are not limited to cars anymore. After making the cool mountain bicycle why not target something a little bigger? That was the idea of German grad student, Stefanie Behringer, who designed this luxurious beauty. More impressive that the end result, Stefanie designed this yacht as her graduate project under the supervision of the AUDI concept design group in Munich. Talk about opportunity when it presents itself!

A new luxury by Bugatti

Inspired or maybe competing with the Audi trimaran, Bugatti came with a yacht concept that will blow your mind. Ben Walsh, one of the biggest car interior designer in the world, is the man behind this exclusive version of Bugatti Veyron, The Sang Bleu Edition.
The carbon fiber and aluminum construction of the boat gives this hydroride a classy, sporty and luxurious look.
This is something to add on our wish list... Even if I was more impressed with the Audi trimaran.

Happy 75 year anniversary Jaguar

The 2011 Jaguar C-X75 is their gift to their costumers to prove how Jaguar always combines design, technology and innovation. It is a demonstration of what Jaguars of the future could be like, unfortunately it will not be slated for production. It is basically sneak peak of how the design language could be in the future, how performance can be delivered in a light weight and where their technology is headed. The message delivered through this car is "technology with responsibility", the Jaguar C-X75 is a hybrid capable of anything you can imagine. I'm talking about top speed reaching over 330 km/h even when relying purely on electric mode. This car weighs only 1347 kilograms and is able to hit 100 km/h in 3.4 s. The C-C75 can travel up to 70 miles on it's battery pack alone, but once the turbines kick in it can keep going for up to 560 miles.

The C-X75 is a real peak into the future, it really showcases Jaguars finesse in cutting edge designs and intelligent use of new technology in a sustainable manner.
