French spiderman climbs Dubai's Burj Khalifa

What could you do on a boring day? You can watch TV, play video games or maybe start a blog if you are lazy, you can also go for a run, the gym or for a swim if you're feeling adventurous, someone chose to go beyond adventure... He calls himself  "the french spiderman", Alain Robert, at the age of 48 decided to climb tours all around the world.

After scaling the Eiffel Tower in Paris and Sydney Opera House, the "French Spiderman" decided to take on the world's tallest tower, Burj Khalifa in Dubai, an 828 meter high skyscraper. He doesn't wear any safety harness and climbs with his bare hands relying only on his body strength and the sturdiness of his legs. Burj Khatifa is a little bigger challenge for him, not only because the tower is so high but also because of the high temperatures there. In the past Robert climbed the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur (88 floors in less than 2 hours), Sears Tower in Chicago and the 88-storey Jin Mao Building in Shanghai, China.

He describes his passion as "My biggest fear is to waste my time on earth. For me, climbing is as important as eating and breathing. Climbing skyscrapers is my lifetime love and passion," he said.
Even though his work goes to charity I think what he does is impressive but a little pointless.
