Torch 2 out soon

I read about this, then verified it from a very reliable source, Blackberry torch 2 will be out sooner than you think. It will be launched by AT&T in the U.S. and will have the regular BlackBerry price, at 199.99$ with a two year contract.
Here are the Toch 2 features :

- 1.2GHz processor
- Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE
- Tri-band HSPA 14.4Mbps
- 3.2-inch VGA 640 x 480 capacitive display
- 8GB built-in memory
- 512MB RAM
- Bluetooth 2.1
- GPS
- NFC
- 5-megapixel camera with flash
- Magnetometer
- Accelerometer
- Proximity sensor
- 1300 mAh battery
- BlackBerry OS 6.1
- OpenGL ES
- 14.6mm thin

There's no dual core processor but 1.2GHz is a big improvement from the torch 9800 which had a 624MHz processor. Improvements have also been made to the screen, it's going to be equipped with a 3.2 inch torch screen and  is going to use resolution of 480 x 640 pixels almost double the resolution of the previous one. That said, the biggest improvement will be the internal memory which will be increased to 8 GB and the camera features, it will be having LED flash, image stabilization, continuous auto focus and many other features.

The one problem they are going to face I think is with their operating system. It's great to have a 1.2GHz processor but it means nothing if they won't also improve BlackBerry OS 6.1. Plus when using a much more powerful processor the battery life will decrease, so that's another area they might need to work on before releasing it.
One thing I really don't like about BlackBerry now and it has become a trend (also with iPhones), they release a device, a few months later, introduce minor upgrades, and launch it again as something brand new. If I'm going to buy a device I'd like to know it's going to be good for at least another year before something tops it.
